One last painting for my October show… Entitled Along the Battenkill, this watercolor painting is based on a photograph I took while kayaking down the quick-moving Battenkill River. The Joe Pye Weed along the banks made a pretty scene, even on such a cloudy day of kayaking. For this small painting, I used a #1 and #00 brush to create thousands of little dots for my shrubbery and trees.
