I just completed a new transparent watercolor painting, called Trastevere. It’s based on a photo I took last spring, when I was lucky enough to visit my daughter, studying abroad in Italy. Trastevere is the name of a neighborhood in Rome, known for it’s brightly colored buildings, cafes, pubs, and artisan shops. The building was built in 1927, and survived the bombs of the Allies during WWII, when Rome was liberated in 1944. This faded beauty is a testament to the amazing architecture you can find throughout Italy.

Cindi – your talents are remarkable, you are truly blessed.
Thank you for much. It’s a lot of hard work to paint in such detail, but I enjoy it!
Hi Cindy, I am so impressed with your artwork! I was lucky to see one one of your award-winning paintings at The View in Old Forge! I am a huge fan of Italy and thrilled to hear your daughter is well and had a wonderful opportunity to study there! Your painting is stunning! Best Wishes, Jacquie Dunbar Grande
So great to hear from you Jacquie! Thank you for your kind words. The ANEAW at The View is one of my favorite watercolor shows, and I’ve been so fortunate the last few years to be a part of it. I hope you and your family are doing well!
