Winter Woods

This is an image of my latest watercolor painting, entitled Winter Woods. The painting is based on a photograph I took last winter, on a sun-lit hike into Wahconah Falls in Massachusetts. I’m very pleased with the way the rocks turned out, and I think the rocks’ details make them the central focus of the painting.
