I’ve finished a couple of new paintings this week. The first is entitled Rocks and was loosely based on a photograph taken in the Adirondack Mountains.
This second watercolor is entitled Basking in the Sun. I caught this turtle sun bathing on the Anthony Kill last summer.
You’re awesome Mommy!
I especially like the reflections on “Basking in the Sun” and the quiet tone helps me relax and dream of slow summer days. “Rocks” draws me into it because i wonder what is lurking in the dark shadows along the banks. It’s mysterious and invites me to step out on the rocks to have a peak.
Thank you so much. That is exactly what I was trying to express with these paintings. I appreciate you taking the time to view my work!
